How it started
It started with 47 screws.
Furniture shouldn't need a bag of hardware, an Allen wrench and a lost Sunday to put together. And it definitely shouldn't wobble the first time you move.
So we started over. Every piece we design in our San Diego studio has to do three things: look beautiful in a real room, slot together by hand in about two minutes, and last. We ship it unfinished, so if you want to make it your own, you can.

What is UNFNSHED?

What is it made of?
Premium-grade, cross-laminated plywood. Unlike particleboard or MDF it won't swell or sag, and the layered edge grain is part of the look.
Why does it ship unfinished?
So the finish is your call. There's no factory paint or coating to work around: leave it natural, or stain and paint it to suit your space.
