Made from 100% European Baltic Birch Plywood

Floating Baltic birch wall shelves,
made to last.

Most wall shelves marketed as "wood" are hollow MDF wrapped in a wood-look veneer, or softwood pine boards that bow within a year. These are 13-ply Baltic birch — the same furniture-grade plywood used in high-end built-ins. Solid through, dimensionally stable across all three lengths, and ready for paint, stain, or a clear sealer.

Floating Mount Hidden bracket reads as a clean floating wood shelf — no visible hardware.
13-Ply Baltic Birch Furniture-grade plywood — solid through, more dimensionally stable than solid lumber.
Tool-Free Install Two screws into the wall, slide on the shelf, done. Under five minutes per shelf.
Your Canvas Arrives smooth and unfinished — paint it, stain it, or seal it natural.

Three lengths, two depths

22"A short shelf for a nightstand niche, kitchen spice ledge, or bathroom over the toilet.
30"The most-ordered length. Spans standard 16" stud spacing and works above a desk, beside a bed, or in a hallway.
46"A long, statement shelf for a living room display wall, kitchen open shelving, or a long entryway.
6" deepPicture ledges, books, small ceramics, single-row glassware. Stays low-profile.
8" deepHardcovers, plant pots, dinner plates, taller decor. The more practical depth for kitchens and offices.

2-tier or 3-tier

Order them in pairs (2-tier) for a clean horizontal stack above a desk or bed. Or in sets of three (3-tier) when you want a full wall column — books on top, plants in the middle, art and small objects on the bottom. The brackets repeat consistently so the spacing reads as one piece, not three separate shelves.

Furniture-grade plywood — solid through, not hollow

Almost every floating shelf in the under-$100 range is one of two things: a hollow MDF box wrapped in printed vinyl, or a softwood pine board that warps within a year of normal household humidity. These are neither. 13-ply Baltic birch means thirteen thin layers of real birch veneer, cross-grained and pressed under heat. Each shelf is solid all the way through — no hollow core, no veneer-over-particleboard.

Plywood — specifically 13-ply Baltic birch, the same furniture-grade material used in high-end built-ins and cabinetry. Each shelf is solid all the way through (not hollow MDF), but it's engineered from layered birch veneers rather than cut from a single board. The cross-grained construction is more dimensionally stable than solid lumber at our 46" length, where solid wood would tend to warp or cup over time.

Two depths: 6" and 8". The 6" depth is best for picture ledges, books, and small ceramics. The 8" depth handles hardcovers, plant pots, dinner plates, and most kitchen items. Both depths are available in all three lengths (22", 30", 46").

Yes. The bracket attaches to the wall first, then the shelf slides on and locks in. No visible hardware underneath — the shelf reads as floating from any normal viewing angle. Unlike most floating shelf kits, the shelf itself is real wood (Baltic birch plywood), not hollow MDF.

Conservatively, around 30 lbs per shelf when mounted into a stud, distributed evenly across the length. That's enough for a row of hardcover books, a few plant pots with soil, or a stack of plates. For heavy items at the longer 46" length, mounting both bracket points into studs is recommended over drywall anchors.

For light loads (small decor, single-row books, picture frames), the included drywall anchors are sufficient. For heavier items — full bookshelves, plant displays, kitchen storage — mounting at least one of the two bracket points into a stud is recommended. The 30" length is sized to span standard 16" stud spacing.

Yes — that's the intent. The shelves arrive smooth-sanded and ready for finish. Baltic birch takes water-based stain, oil-based stain, paint, and clear sealers cleanly with minimal grain raise. A light scuff with 220-grit sandpaper between coats is all the prep most finishes need.
