I ended up getting both sizes of the modern shelf and painting them both different colors. It was fun and make our space look fun and homey! They also look easy to sand if I was a do-over later.
I received a box with shelving, not the table I ordered. I’m waiting for what is to be done about the mix up. The stools are cute, well made and easy to assemble.
This chair is low and wide (but not too low and wide) so I can comfortably sit in a variety of positions, including cross-legged. It took longer to open and unwrap the package than to assemble the chair; I didn’t bother to look at the directions, because assembly was simple and obvious. I may add a cushion, but I’m comfortable without one. This is my fifth unfnshed purchase (I have everything I need now though—at least for the time being ), and I am happy with all of it. Thanks for the solid, simple, functional, attractive products!
Modern Nightstand
I had been scoring the internet for months looking for a bench that was both functional, strong, comfortable, and affordable made of natural materials and in the USA- no easy task in 2025. Then i found unfnshed and they checked all the boxes. I received my order quickly and had it built in less than five minutes. I love these products and will likely buy again and leave IKEA in the dust.
This shelf is a perfect way to store and display records, books, etc. its minimal design and functionality is superb. Truly a one of a kind piece and excited to order more from Unfnshed!

This shelf is the culmination of a long perusal of the market. To find something of this size, shape, and ~vibe~ isn’t hard if….you can afford to spend big money.

The construction is excellent and I set it up and rearranged my living room in 10 minutes total.
I’ve been told recently that my recommendations are always right (I swear, I was floored), so hear me when I say—this is my best furniture purchase of the last few years.
I was looking for a sturdy monitor stand for my home office. I came across the stand from Unfnshed and really liked the look. While it is unfinished wood, it does not look unfinished. The surface is smooth and the edges are well tooled. Not to mention it is very sturdy. I plan keeping mine as is, but it would look great painted as well. I highly recommend this stand!
Nice quality wood ready to decorate. Strong enough to hold my records, which is exactly what I was worried it might be too flimsy for. Glad my gamble paid off.
