As the bench grows, its support structure grows with it. Longer tops receive taller stretchers, deeper benches receive broader feet, and larger builds add a second stretcher for stability.
The joinery remains the same simple system at every size: legs and stretchers interlock, then their tabs locate in routed pockets beneath the top.

Because every dimension is yours to choose, it works as adjustable shelving without the fiddly hardware — instead of nudging pins up and down a metal track, you decide the whole shape up front and the shelves space themselves evenly. Every shelf is cut to order in our Southern California shop. Most orders ship within a week, and we'll email you tracking the moment yours is on its way. Shipping cost is shown right in the price above — no surprises at checkout.

All of our products are made from sustainably sourced furniture-grade birch, an incredibly strong and high quality plywood.
Does it come finished?
Like everything we make, your shelf ships unfinished — smooth-sanded birch, ready for paint, stain, oil, or nothing at all. Here are some of our favorites.
How easy is it to assemble?
Assembly of all our products is meant to be incredibly easy and straight forward. In most cases they take just a minute.
Can I return it?
Because every shelf is cut to your exact dimensions, we can't restock custom pieces the way we do our standard products. If your shelf arrives damaged or anything isn't right, reach out and we'll make it right.
