The Single
30.5" wideIdeal as a vinyl record stand, bedside table, or storage for tight alcoves.
The Modular Shelf is a modular shelving system that grows with you. Precision-cut plywood units align flush side-by-side — building a seamless modular bookcase that looks built-in, without the built-in price.
No screws, no Allen key, no instruction booklet you'll lose anyway. The panels slot together with interlocking joinery — slide them in, stand it up.
Tool-free doesn't mean flimsy. The interlocking joinery spreads weight across the whole frame — so we stacked nineteen 60-lb bags of concrete on one shelf. 1,140 lbs. It held.
Start with one and add more whenever — they connect side by side to fill your exact wall. The joinery is identical on every unit, so they always line up.
Ideal as a vinyl record stand, bedside table, or storage for tight alcoves.
A full-width media console or low bookshelf for living rooms and entryways.
A true built-in look for libraries, retail displays, and large open walls.
Each one of our products is designed and manufactured at our California-based studio.
All of our products are made from sustainably sourced furniture-grade baltic birch, an incredibly strong and high quality plywood.
There's truly no limit. We've used paints of all types, stains of all types and various combinations. Let your imagination run wild!
A modular shelving system is built from individual units that connect together — so you choose the height, width, and shape to fit your space, then reconfigure later when your needs change. Our Modular Shelf is a single-column system: stack two for a record holder or go three for a tv console. Go more if you need more!
Both — a modular bookcase is just a bookshelf built from interchangeable parts. Ours works for books, plants, art, records, kitchen storage, or as a room divider. The 13-ply Baltic birch plywood holds heavy loads and won't sag like the particleboard in budget bookcases.
Yes. The joinery is identical on every tier, so a shelf you buy today connects cleanly to a tier you order in two years. This is the main reason renters and small-space dwellers reach for modular shelving instead of a fixed bookshelf — it adapts to a new apartment, a new room, or a new collection.
In most cases, yes! You can simply sand and put a new finish on or you can try and paint over.
Assembly of all our products is meant to be incredibly easy and straight forward. In most cases they take just a minute.
We accept returns of up to 14 days on all unfinished products (meaning you've put no finish on it).
