Our Modern Desk is 47 inches wide and 24 inches deep — large enough for a monitor, keyboard, and notebook, but compact enough to fit against a bedroom wall or in a hallway alcove. For most home office setups, you don’t need a massive desk. You need a stable surface at the right height with enough room for your actual workflow.
Why does home office furniture material matter?
You’ll spend 8+ hours a day at this desk. Particleboard desks sag in the middle after a few months with a monitor on them. Our 13-ply Baltic birch plywood is the same material used in workbenches and studio furniture — it stays flat and stable under daily use. It’s also lighter than solid hardwood, which matters if you’re rearranging or moving.
How do I make a home office look less like an office?
The trick is furniture that doesn’t look exclusively like office furniture. Our pieces have clean lines and natural wood grain that work in a living room, bedroom, or dedicated office equally well.
