I really appreciate the instant gratification of a quick to assemble piece of furniture. There were no tools involved other than the palm of my hand. Less than 10 minutes to remove from box and have completely assembled. It’s natural wood so if a shiny vaneer is what your after then you will have to prep and varnish before installation. I kept the natural wood.

Amazing shelf. Looks great, is very easy to assemble, and feels incredibly sturdy. The large 3 shelf version is perfect for my needs. I use the bottom two shelves for shoe display/storage, and the top to hold bags and mail. Just perfect.

Arrived quickly with no damage and took about 3 minutes to assemble (probably half that if you have another person to help hold the pieces steady). It feels super sturdy and is plenty wide enough for me to sit cross-legged in it. It’s also surprisingly comfortable even without a cushion, though I might make one in the future. Now my only dilemma is whether to get colorful with it or seal it as is.

Took a bit of time to locate the blemish…. great product. I will be purchasing more in the future (this is my second shelf)

Ads for unfnshed found me on social media while looking for bookshelves for my office. They arrived pretty quickly -- I got both sizes of bookshelf -- and they assembled in minutes. We're leaving ours au naturel, but I can tell these would take a stain or paint nicely. If you're on the fence, the quality is definitely there; you'll be happy with your purchase.

I could not be happier with these shelves. I had them installed in my kitchen and coffee bar in place of floating shelves. I think they are so much more interesting and add a lot of personality to the space. I had them stained to match the cabinets and I think it made the wood grain come through so beautifully. My contractor was really impressed with how sturdy they are, and he was able to assemble and install all 5 shelves in under an hour. 10/10 recommend.

This is hands-down the best shelf I’ve ever purchased. I originally (and impulsively) bought a vinyl shelf on Prime Day but sent it back after experiencing the chemical off gassing and two huge bags of screws. I ordered this The second I came across this one from UNFNSHED, and I’m so glad I did.

It’s made in the U.S., it’s real wood (not that flimsy particleboard stuff), and the craftsmanship is gorgeous. It shipped out super quickly, arrived fast, and required zero assembly. As a single woman, I have absolutely no desire to wrestle with a million screws and tiny tools this shelf just slid together in under three minutes. Effortless.
I’m using it as part of my record setup and it fits so perfectly. The little book stand holds my currently playing vinyl upright, my speaker tucks underneath with ease, and I have space to grow into as my collection expands. This book holder was soooo easy to put together and I just love that you can paint it to make it your own!

I'm in the midst of staining, but it's smooth, beautiful grain, and will be perfect for my records!

We absolutely adore our stool! It's wonderfully cute in our space and fits perfectly in our toddler's play kitchen area. The design is exactly what we were hoping for, and our little one loves having her own special place to stand.

Assembly was straightforward with clear directions (however, it does take a LOT more muscle than they show in the video, and the wood is so tight it can cause some splintering), though I did notice the legs weren't perfectly even when completed. When used as a stool, there was a slight wobble, but we easily solved this with small felt furniture pads on each leg. This simple fix worked beautifully, and though the pads eventually wear down, they're inexpensive and easy to replace.

Despite this minor adjustment, the quality and craftsmanship are impressive. The stool is sturdy, beautifully designed, and has become an essential part of our daughter's play area. We're genuinely impressed with what the team at Unfnshed is creating.

These shelves are great! Ordered a pair of the 3 tier wall shelves and received them in about 3-4 days, from California to New York. I actually received these faster than some stuff I had ordered on amazon on the same day!

Shelves were packed well and were not damaged at all upon receiving them. I opted to paint these using the tutorials that are shared on the unfnshed website and they ended up looking great! I found that two coats of the recommended spray paint wasn’t enough to get the look I was going for so I ended up doing four, sanding down between each coat. There was a few VERY minor issues with the edges of the wood but I was able to fill them in with plastic wood before painting and sanding and now you would never know they were ever there.

Overall, great product and great shipping, will be ordering a few more items in the future for sure.

I was looking for something clean, modern, & simple, but also not break the bank. These were it! Our boys room is under construction at the moment but i still set it up so they could display their things. I included a pic of how it arrived, it was packaged super well and it arrived sooner than expected. There was a hiccup with how my post office handled delivery but these guys were very helpful & figured out a solution. Ill be back for sure

This is a sturdy and high-quality shelf - although the assembly was not as easy as the video suggests, I had to bang those things with a hammer, sandwiched between a piece of wood, pretty hard for a while to get them actually to go in as far as it’s supposed to. The legs are also quite chunky-looking from the side, making the side profile less elegant than I had hoped. I wonder if it needs to be that wide. I’m sure it helps with the stability, but still, I hoped it looked a little less ‘assuming'. Overall, a solid, decent product. Cons: less elegant-looking in real life than in the photos, assembly requires a lot more time and effort than advertised, which means that if I want to disassemble them to apply different finishes, it will be another pretty hard hammering session.

I used Minwax furniture paste wax — 4 or 5 coats. Might add more coats later. Took 30 or 40 minutes. I could have used the wider version for my iMac and Bose speakers. 20 20 hindsight….! Waxing really brings up the color and the grain and makes an attractive finish. Easy, too!

Love the simple, clean look. Easy to put together and has held up as side/coffee table and toddler toy area.
