There's truly no limit. We've used paints of all types, stains of all types and various combinations. Let your imagination run wild!
In most cases, yes! You can simply sand and put a new finish on or you can try and paint over.
Assembly of all our products is meant to be incredibly easy and straight forward. In most cases they take just a minute.
We accept returns of up to 14 days on all unfinished products (meaning you've put no finish on it).
Such a fun chair! It’s light enough to move around yet sturdy enough to plop onto. I’m 5’4” and sit most comfortably with a pillow behind my back. I had an excellent experience with customer service when I had Qs after delivery. The packaging was very well done. It’s HEAVY on delivery and the outside box took some hits but everything inside was super well protected. Excellent and no traditional option—go for it! Be patient with delivery times as it’s a custom work of art :)
This wonderful chair arrived in a timely manner, but due to a move out of state, we just now got it out of the box and put together!
It was SO easy to assemble with only four pieces! Absolutely no issues, all pieces fit together perfectly and it’s fantastic! Looks very Scandinavian, such high quality!

Arrived quickly with no damage and took about 3 minutes to assemble (probably half that if you have another person to help hold the pieces steady). It feels super sturdy and is plenty wide enough for me to sit cross-legged in it. It’s also surprisingly comfortable even without a cushion, though I might make one in the future. Now my only dilemma is whether to get colorful with it or seal it as is.

Lovely chair just the way it is.
I love my chair. It was easy enough to assemble on my own. I didn’t follow the directions very closely and did have a small panic when I shoved the pieces in at a bad angle. I thought it would be permanently wonky… but then I just rattled it a little bit and boom it’s perfect. I love the look of the natural wood. I have lots of ideas for how to paint it to match my space. I love that I get to customize it on my own and get creative with it while also having a beautiful piece of art to sit on while I decide what to do! I love this business!

I waited a few months to write my review since I wanted to really test out the chair. As expected, it starts being uncomfortable to sit in after ~5 minutes (I'm actually surprised that so many people are saying the opposite); I needed a cushion to actually sit in it for long periods of time. That's really my only complaint though, the chair looks great and assembly was super quick. It's incredibly sturdy and super roomy as well, I can curl up or sit cross-legged in it with no issues.

This chair is low and wide (but not too low and wide) so I can comfortably sit in a variety of positions, including cross-legged. It took longer to open and unwrap the package than to assemble the chair; I didn’t bother to look at the directions, because assembly was simple and obvious. I may add a cushion, but I’m comfortable without one. This is my fifth unfnshed purchase (I have everything I need now though—at least for the time being ), and I am happy with all of it. Thanks for the solid, simple, functional, attractive products!
